An exhaustive experimental validation has been carried out in the anechoic chamber available at the research group’s facilities, confirming the good performance predicted by the simulations.
Additionally, a tracking algorithm has been developed to follow the electromagnetic source by acting on the motor through the control system. Laboratory tests were carried out with a moving wave transmitter, verifying that the system is capable of tracking correctly. These tests validate the prototype’s ability to maintain a communications system in motion with real-time tracking, a feature required in SOTM (Satellite On The Move) applications.
